Katrina Ondracek was named the General Manager of Symphony Pointe in November 2022. Prior to leading the community, she was Executive Director of The Meriwether in La Vista, NE, another Agemark-managed community. She holds assisted living administrator licenses in both Nebraska and Washington state.
Katrina brings a wealth of experience to her role, with past experience leading several communities, including a large Independent Living and Assisted Living community in Washington. Prior to that, she was Executive Vice President at the United Way of Snohomish County in Everett, Washington for ten years. Before relocating to Washington, the Nebraska native served in several positions for the Department of Health and Human Services, the Nebraska Department of Labor and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
She earned both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She and her fiancee makes their home in Elkhorn. In her spare time, Katrina enjoys running, traveling, reading and spending time with animals, including her two Bengal cats: Ichabod and Seymour.
Terri Morrow joined Symphony Pointe in November 2022 as Senior Living Consultant. In her role, she looks forward to connecting with prospective residents and families considering Symphony Pointe. She joins our community after spending seven months as a Senior Living Consultant at CountryHouse in Lincoln, NE, a sister community of Symphony Pointe.
With a background in senior care, home health & hospice and general sales, she brings a variety of experiences to our community. She holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in Special Education (with a hearing impaired endorsement) and another in Marketing. Additionally, she is a certified Assisted Living Administrator.
Terri and her spouse, a farmer and rancher, have four children and one grandchild. In her free time, she loves working with animals, volunteering at rescue shelters and fostering animals in need. The family has eight fur babies of their own.
Christine has worked for more than eight years in Senior Living. Before her current career, she worked in advertising and marketing. With her cheerful personality, she loves to bring joy to residents and staff members.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications with an emphasis in marketing and human resources from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Christine is an expert in fun – from music to parties, taste testing, continuing education, and more. She enjoys being part of the Symphony Pointe team and thinks seniors are very adventurous and full of the most exciting stories.
Christine and her husband, Mark, have two daughters. The family are proud Huskers as all four attended or attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In her spare time, Christine enjoys pickleball and trivia. She also enjoys trying new delicious food items, but only ones she doesn’t have to cook.
Maddie is our community’s Sales & Marketing Assistant. She enjoys working with older adults – connecting with residents and helping them in any way she can. She first started working in senior living when she was 16. Before joining our team, she worked in life enrichment at another retirement home, and while earning her master’s degree, she interned at another community.
She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a Business Administration and Gerontology degree and recently completed her Masters in Business Administration.
Maddie was born and raised in Omaha. She enjoys running, reading, learning, thrift shopping, and spending time with friends and family.
Karmell Lynn Sanders
Karmell is Symphony Pointe’s Memory Care Manager. She oversees daily operations of Woodwinds Memory Care at Symphony Pointe. She has spent 16 of her 24 years in nursing working specifically with seniors. She finds a sense of accomplishment and joy while helping others.
Karmell graduated from Bellevue East High School in 1992, obtained a CNA/Psych Tech certificate in 1994, and obtained her LPN degree in 2007. She has experience in nursing in assisted living, skilled nursing, in a step-down ICU, and in occupational health.
She previously worked at The Meriwether, another Agemark community, before joining the Symphony Pointe team. She appreciates Agemark’s values and culture and believes in the mission of the company – to treat all as family.
She is originally from Northfield, MN (home of the Jesse James Days). She and her husband Terry have been married for 21 years. The couple has two grown children and can’t wait to be grandparents. She is an avid reader of true crime and biographies. Her guilty pleasure is horror, and Halloween is her favorite day of the year, next to Valentine’s Day.
Angela is our Director of Nursing. She began her healthcare career as a CNA at 16 and has 30 years of experience. She became a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1994, a Medication Aide in 2003, and 2008, earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Pre-Professional Nursing. She became an LPN in 2012.
She spent most of her career working in Long Term Care, most recently spending 14 years working as a CNA/Med Aide before becoming a charge nurse. She also worked as an LPN/Assisted Living Administrator at an Assisted Living in Tilden, NE, for four years. Angela moved to Elkhorn and worked for Methodist Orthopedics as a nurse from 2019 to 2023. She is now happy to be part of Symphony Pointe.
Angela and her husband, Rich, live in Elkhorn. Angela has four children and looks forward to welcoming her first grandson later this year. Her hobbies include decorating for holidays, working out, spending time with family, shopping, and watching Husker sports and Minnesota Vikings football.
Darleen is our Director of Food and Beverage. She brings knowledge and expertise to our community, residents, and staff in all areas of cuisine. She loves expressing her creativity for the benefit of all Symphony Pointe residents.
Her past work experience includes a stint with Steritech as a Food Safety Specialist; she was also the Food and Beverage Director for The Hilton in Myrtle Beach where she managed several food outlets and gift shops on the pier. Additionally, she previously owned an Italian Steakhouse in Myrtle Beach, SC, and an Edible Arrangements store in Williamsburg, VA.
She chose to join the Agemark family after finding the team so amiable and helpful. She appreciates that the company is growing and is thrilled to be part of the team that’s opening Symphony Pointe.
Darleen has two sons. One lives in Omaha, and the other resides in Washington, DC. She enjoys golfing, cooking, and traveling.
Matt is Symphony Pointe’s Maintenance Supervisor. A 1993 graduate of Millard North High School, he attended Universal Technical Institute in Omaha. He holds a Universal EPA license and is certified in refrigerant and gas piping. He is also a certified pool operator.
Matt loves using his hands-on skills to serve the residents of our community. Before joining the Symphony Pointe team, he worked in a similar role at another Agemark Community.
Matt is married to Carrie, a 3rd grade teacher. The couple has three children. He and his family love living in the country on an acreage in Yutan. In his spare time, Matt enjoys working on cars, trucks, and tractors and completing home improvement projects; he also enjoys spending time outdoors – particularly at the lake and fishing. He also enjoys spending time with extended family – his parents and brother- and caring for the farm.
